Social Media Management for Hove Food Trail
The Client
Hove Food Trail is an annual food festival celebrating the unique food and drink brands in Hove. The event was founded by David Toscano, the owner of two successful Italian restaurants in London and Hove. The project was first brought to me in May, with about 6 weeks until the event was due to take place.
The Approach
Our objective was to reach 1,000 followers on Instagram and sell 100 tickets with just 1 month of activity before the event in July 2023. Because this was the festival launch, there was no event content from previous years, so we had to be inventive with our content to draw people in and encourage ticket sales. We used a combination of collaborative posts with participating restaurants and competitions, as well as teaser posts about dishes available to purchase on the trail.
The Result
We finished the event with 1,338 followers on Instagram from only 23 posts and the final ticket count was at 97 (just 3 away from our goal). Overall, the event was a big success and we hope to come back next year bigger and better.
